| 현재 미국에서 연수중인 최진혁입니다. 여러분들의 투쟁에 직접 동참하지 못하는 것을 항상 안타깝게 생각하고 있습니다. 그러나 많은 어려움 속에서 의연히 싸우고 계시는 여러 선생님들을 생각하면 우리들은 이번 투쟁에서 반드시 승리하리라 확신합니다. 특히 어저께 4000명 이상의 교수님들이 참석하신 결의대회 소식은 뭉클한 감동을 주었습니다. 그 동안 World Medical Association (세계의사협회, WMA)에 수회 잘못된 의약분업에 대한 선생님들의 투쟁의 배경과 경과에 대한 글을 보냈습니다만 오늘 드디어 답장을 받았습니다. WMA는 우리나라 의약분업 사태에 대해 처음부터 상당한 관심을 가지고 있었던 것 같으며 우리들에 대한 적극적인 지지를 표명하고 있는 것으로 보입니다. 편지 원문 그대로 옮기오니 참고해주시면 감사하겠습니다. 우리는 반드시 승리할 것입니다! The WMA has been actively involved from the start, directing letters to the Minister of Health and Justice. In consultation with the Korean Medical Association these efforts will continue.
